Go to link download and install: OpenVPNPortable_1.6.6.paf.exe

This includes OpenVPN 2.1.1 and works great.

Go to link and download: openvpn-2.2.2-install.exe

Using 7Zip, extracted the 2.2.2 installer to a folder (some files for x86/x64 will overwrite - this is ok, we aren't using these.)

Copy the following files from unzipped folder:

I don't wish to report the wrong app as I was using a couple of them but one altered the colour and shade/transparency of my taskbar and start menu.

In order to help, only,
I think it was the PNotes app.

Reason being that I was mucking around with it's appearance and now the same colour, transparency and also, I think, font, is now what my taskbar and start menu are displaying.

I did also use the help button on the PortableApps.com menu which opened for me using the Opera app (which set itself as default it seems, for the PortableApps.com platform?)

Can't update from Platform. Message is: "The downloaded copy of PChat Portable is not valid and can not be installed. ... ".

In tryed several times.

every time i try to install it it says you must change the file to online.paf.exe and i did but it doesnt work help

I need to run a Java app that connects to a mysql database.
I was provided with a driver (jar-file) called mysql-connectro-… that will handle the connection.
Can jportable handle this kind of things?
If so, where does the driver have to go?

I re-installed Java for now.
Without the driver I cannot make connection to the database either, but if I place the driver in C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\lib\ext\ the database connection is there and I can view and edit the data.

This is just an FYI. It'd be great if there were a solution for this.

I use both Google Chrome and Google Chrome Portable on the same computer for specific business reasons. Each time Chrome does its auto-update to a newer version, Portable quits working with the following errors on startup:

Could not get Chrome DLL version.
Could not find exported function RelaunchChromeBrowserWithNewCommandLineIfNeeded

Had a search on how to put all my apps from my flash drive to a cloud drive. The cloud services that I have tried do not allow you to upload folders, so in theory I could create folders and rename them to the correct folder names and upload the individual files. Not gonna do that...Has anyone got their PortableApp.com platform working on a cloud service so that it works as if you got your flash drive plugged in to the machine? And how did you do it? which service did you use?

Also, I tryied but failed to find JkDefrag 3.36 Rev2 in that listing.

I did find the update, It was in a place I didn't expect / think to look.

I am trying to import a MDL to blend script into blender portable but I am totally lost as to where to set my file directories. I am not a noob, but I am not an advanced user either. I am just a Dbase Programmer trying to take the NWN models and Make DnD Minis for a blender game engine version of the DnD Pen and Paper Minis Game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New Chrome (since last two releases) is not closing multiple files when I exit last instance of the browser. That is fatal as those files remain locked and can not be accessed by number of file system synchonization tools.

Workaround: Log out and log in from win 7.

Files noticed to be locked:
