For some reason, Listary Portable will no longer run upon upgrading from v3.50.691 to v3.51.776. When I revert to v3.50.691, Listary works as it always has.

Any ideas anyone?

I'm running a fully patched/updated version of XP Home SP3.

There appears to be an issue with InfraRecorder Portable 0.52: I was able to successfully install InfraRecorder Portable 0.52 on my HDD from the PortableApps Platform (Get More Apps...) and also manually using the downloaded *.paf file. However, when I attempt to launch the application from the platform or manually from the directory, I get the following error, "InfraRecorder: InfraRecoder.exe - Application Error ; The instruction at '0x01d5ed34' referenced memory at '0x00000004'. The memory could not be 'written'."

How to add to gvim python support?

re-produce the bug:
1. download java portable
2. double click on the icone (not install it in other way..)
3. an installe will open and you should agree and do next
4. at folder browse you will see this:
File browse
5.change the directotry to your desire location

expected result:
directory sholde be the "your location"/commonfiles/java

I've downloaded the Portable Chrome Apps. It Rocks ! Yeah, I know, I'm almost trolling ^_^
BUT why (yes whyyyyyyy so much hate ?) :

1) I use Chrome in order to connect to a HTTPS webmail. I've imported the p12 certificate. I can connect ! \o/ I remove the Usbkey, try somewhere else... WTF ? The certificate is not there ??? Coming back to the previous computer, it's working ...? Is the Certificate stored LOCALLY ???? But I cannot find it anywhere :/
Any Idea ?

2) I've installed some extension : TweetDeck for example. Nice and Useful.

I just updated from jPortable 6 Update 30 to Update 31.

Update 30 worked perfectly in Firefox, Chrome, and Opera. In fact I was excited because Update 29 only worked in Firefox and Chrome for me. But, I updated to the new Update 31 and it stopped being recognized as a plugin for all 3 browsers.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Given what this program does and what it is used for by developers I wonder if it might be better listed in Development category alongside the installer, launcher etc... instead of in utilities?

is there any portable app, that allows to search for duplicate files (if a file is multiple times on my PC)?

Quite a few problems for me, (1) I did a new fresh install of Songbird 1.10.1 last night, when it was installing it said there was a new stability and compatibility version available 1.10.2 I think, of course I said no, but if I said okay, would it have installed a local version ?, I do not have a local version. (2) After it finally got through the initial install routine, I turn off all access and other checking, tracking apps and 3rd party cookies and things, remove all the allows from different sections it automatically puts in, usually 7digitalmusic add-on.

After upgrading to 3.8.0, System Explorer requires admin rights every time it is started on any computer that doesn't have a normal installation of the program. By the looks of the error messages I've been getting, and what the official help page says, this appears to be because, starting with this version, it needs a service in order to run.
