[Fixed] Experimental language Selection

Submitted by Barley on March 30, 2011 - 11:15am

Thanks for the experimental language selection, it's great.

Here are some folders/files that LOP missed or where users could manually make some careful adjustments to slim the install down (my base language is "Deutsch"):

Question on paths ref Java

Submitted by HarryR on March 14, 2011 - 8:09am

The LibreOffice Portable FAQ says that :
"jPortable, the portable Java runtime, can be installed in one of two locations:

* X:\PortableApps\CommonFiles\Java (Highly Recommended as other apps can use it)*
* with LibreOffice Portable installed to X:\PortableApps\LibreOfficePortable
... "

Does this mean that, if I have LibreOffice Portable installed in :

then it will automatically find jPortable in :

[Fixed] Locale settings are not saved

Submitted by Wamiduku on February 28, 2011 - 12:13pm

The Locale setting in Tools->Options->Language Settings->Languages is not
saved when the locale is different from the user interface language. Every time LibreOffice is started, the selected locale setting is reset
back to the same language as the setting for "User interface".

E.g. if I set the user interface language to "English (USA)" and the locale to
"Swedish (Sweden)", the locale will be set to "English (USA)" the next time I
start LibreOffice.

Is 3.3.1 coming?

Submitted by saronno on February 24, 2011 - 1:26pm

While 3.3.0 portable was released together with the standard version and also "officially" mentioned in the site as a result of collaboration between the Document Foundation and,
things seem to be different with 3.3.1.

I found no mention at all (anywhere) about the same collaboration about the new release; moreover, any Google search for the word "portableapps" in the site leads to zero results.

Problem with installation

Submitted by rali on February 22, 2011 - 11:15am

I tried to install LibreOffice Portable after I have downloaded it to C. I tried to install it on my USB but strange I had more than 1.5 GB free on C and during the install I get the error that I`m running ot of space on C. So I had to stop the installation. After I have done that I now have only 500 MB free on C even when I have deleted the LibreOffice Portable.exe file?

Can somebody help me to free C because I think that LibreOffice Portable has created some files somewhere on it but I dont know where or how to find them?

Thanks in advance
