Internet Apps Support

Miranda has come out with .7 however portable apps has not.
miranda has offered to update itself from .68 - .7
so should i update it or not?

I wanted to have the option of keeping both putty.exe and puttytray.exe in my app\putty directory I tried both:
PuTTYExecutable=PUTTYtray.EXE

and

PuTTYExecutable=App\putty\PUTTYtray.EXE

They both caused PuttyPortable.exe to error out saying it could not find putty.exe

... with important fix, it should be great if available soon! I was waiting for 2.2.0, and I don't wannna push anybody, but can we expect to see it soon ?

Just a current situation on the subject would be really appreciated!

Hi,

Didn't know I was so far behind.

I backed up the entire old directory structure by renaming with an "OLD" suffix before the dot.
I installed 0.6.8 onto the USB drive into its own new folder and then tried to follow instructions to copy the "settings" directory from old to new. I can't find this so-called settings directory.

p.s.: the new install is unicode. the old is ansi?

Is this possible? I've been able to connect to muds but the program shuts down after a few prompts, this may however be due to my school's network security.

If someone on my buddy list changes his/her buddy icon pidgin simply overwrites the old one. I actually dont like this behaviour. At least for one of my msn buddies (changes icon several times a day and I dont want to miss a single one).
Is there a way to save every icon automatically? A plugin or something?

I am using 2.1.1 on Windows XP SP2.I have connected to my account on MSN. When I try to connect to an accepted buddy, I get the following message:

Message could not be sent because an error with the switchboard occurred:

I am playing with the idea of building perl-based plugins for Pidgin Portable.

I followed the instructions for the simple plugin given at
http://developer.pidgin.im/doxygen/dev/html/perl-howto.html

But the custom plugin does not show in the plugin list

Any hints?

I tried to start PidginPortalbe under Wine. PidginPortable was loaded well. But fonts of the interface very much greater. The size of a font nearby 76pt. How I can reduce a font?
There are fonts from Windows in system (Mandriva 2007). There are fonts from Windows in Wine (0.9.44).

Is there a way to add the spell checker plugin to pidgin portable 2.1.1? I looked at the site and did a quick google search and located nothing. Thanks for any help.
