Can't enter password to access program

Submitted by OzChick on June 25, 2008 - 4:13pm

Just in the last couple of days, when I plug my USB drive and double-click the EXE file, the dialog box is only half there. The white box where I am supposed to enter my password does not appear and the OK and Cancel buttons are both white. I have also noticed that the Get Mail button at the top doesn't appear and the menu line (File, Edit... etc) is blank. Because the "About" is not there, I can't see what version I am running.
Something is seriously screwy and corrupt somewhere but I have no idea how it happened or why.

Adding bcc: to the left-hand address list

Submitted by JeffNeedle on June 21, 2008 - 2:13pm

I need to add bcc: to the "Add to To" and "Add to CC" choices to Tbird Portable. I had an extension to do this for Seamonkey and it worked fine. I'm looking for an extension for Tbird Portable. Anyone have it who can e-mail it to me? It would be so appreciated!

Thanks.

TBP Lightning Question

Submitted by ggrosser on June 20, 2008 - 8:54am

I am wondering if anyone has had experience with the Lightning extension for TBP.

I know that you can publish your calendar, but I am not sure what I need or even how to do this. I would like to make it where my co-workers can view my calendar so that they can see what I am doing so that they don't have to constantly call me and ask what I have planned.

If this post doesn't go here, sorry and please advise me where I should post it. I couldn't find a Lightning forum.

Thanks.

Email can't copying in sent folder

Submitted by Porti on June 18, 2008 - 4:02pm

Hi,

I've got a problem, that TB can't moved the email to the folder sent.
The file "virtualfolder.dat" is fault.
Must I re-install TB or can I repair this file.

Here is the error report after sending:

The messages could not be moved or copied to folder 'Sent' because writing to folder failed.
To gain disk space, from the File menu, first choose Empty Trash, and then choose Compact Folders,
and then try again.

After confirming a new message appears:

There was an error copying the message to the Sent folder. Retry?

Calendar File From Web Location?

Submitted by arizona480 on June 18, 2008 - 3:19am

Is it possible to tell TBP to snatch the storage.sdb file stored on a web location (and write to it as well)? Every time I update my calendar, I have to send the file to myself so I can update my other TBP's. It would be nice if all of them could just share the storage.sdb file from the net (not all at the same time) so my current calendar is always available. I know that there is a way to create a network calendar, but if you already have your calendar with many events in place, that seems like it would be a lot of work.
