How can I disable the thunderbird splash screen?
Hello
Copernic Desktop Search doesn't work with Thunderbird Portable.
It is not able to recognize that TBP is installed.
How can this be fixed?
i wish that thunderbird could be smaller, for those of us with lots of data have less than 25 megabytes free, and i use Reach-a-mail right now because thunderbird is too large for my drive. could we make it smaller?
Hi again!
I can't find "open" option in TBP. I have instaled the "Locale Switcher" addon, as seen in https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable/localization, to change the language. Maybe it doesn´t work? Am I doing something wrong?
In addition to figuring out how to encrypt email storage on my USB thumb drive, I'd also like to distribute my storage across both the thumb drive and my most frequently used laptop. In short, I'd like to have my Inbox, Drafts, and Sent Mail on the thumb, then a bunch of archive folders on the laptop. Seems like a simple idea, and I think with Linux it would be simple through symbolic links. But alas, my work confines me to windows most of the time. Is there any way to do this? Perhaps setting up multiple directories in ThunderbirdPortableSettings.ini?
Thanks!
I telecommute and use a number of desktops and laptops. I've really enjoyed having my email with me via a USB drive. I worry though, what could happen if I ever lost the drive - most likely someone would just wipe it clean for their own use, but what if they did go through my mail?
From searching around through the forums, it appears that there are some ways of encrypting drives, most of which require administrative rights, though some more complex methods may avoid this (?). But it is really just my email that I'm concerned about.
I am trying to copy mail from my f drive to c drive. When I am in Windows Explorer, which file do I copy, and which file do I paste it into?
Also, must I set up the accounts in the c drive, or do the accounts automatically transfer.
Thanks
Hi everybody,
Can any one tell me how to put a password to lock my local folders, so that only I can access it.
"thunderbird.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
The error message appears, without the program even appearing first. It's happened every time since I updated to the new version number of thunderbird (minor update, e.g 2.10 to 2.11 or whatever number it is now).
Has anyone got any ideas on maybe how I could fix this, or if not where can I find backdated versions of thunderbird portable?
When I try to get my e-mail it sets for quite some time and then says that pop.earthlink.net has timed out I can send e-mail with no problems, I have checked the pop setting they seem to be correct, I have checked mail2web and I have mail, I have deleted tbird and reinstalled a newer version, this didn't help, I have completely deleted and tried that and it still didn't work.
