Hi Every buddy
I tried to install the Portable Skype (in regular way, 1st download it from PortableApps.com, 2nd installing using the options:Install new Apps), but several time and many days, the installing starts and in the middle of the installation i get the next Msg:

"The installer was unable to download Skype. The installation of the portable app will be incomplete without it. please try installing again.
(ERROR: Reget Error)"

and the installation quit, the application icon appears in the PortableApps menu but not working since installation not completed.

It ran fine yesterday, but when I came into work this morning not a lot happens.

Looking in Task Manager, Explorer++Portable.exe and Explorer++.exe are both running, but the Explorer++ window never appears.

Running just Explorer++.exe from within the App/Explorer++ directory works fine.

Downloading and re-installing gives the exact same problems.

The only change that has happened between yesterday morning and this morning is a few Windows security updates.

I'm on XP SP3.

Hope someone can give some example on how to make a custom segment on PAL?

Does anyone know where the installer for the Google Voice extension (FOR GOOGLE CHROME) gets installed to in Windows XP? If I install it from the portable version of Chrome, it seems that it still gets installed to the machine. If I could find out what directory the plugin is in on the machine, and what directory to move it to inside the PortableApps folders, that would be awesome.

P.S. Whoever tells me this will have MAJOR street cred with me C:

I just updated my portable Skype to the new version. But every time I try to login to Skype it crashes. So I tried to install it to a new folder to have an "clean" installation but it's the same issue. Any ideas?

p.s. OS: Windows 7 64bit

Has anyone tried using SNES, MAME, GBA, or any of the other game emu's? I programmed a few of them to work and they seem pretty stable so far in my regression testing. I will try to find some open source versions and submit them here for others to share.

Although the .paf.exe specifies it is v43.2a it actually has v43.2 which you can't use the play online with v43.2a servers.

And it also has a bug in which the network dialog is positioned off-screen or badly for some resolution and UI scales which I was able to reproduce proving it is indeed v43.2 and not v43.2a

It seems you can save your settings in TeamViewer Portable by doing the following:

1. Open TeamViewer change your settings and export them rom advanced settings (Export for TeamViewer Portabgle) to tv.ini in the app directory
2. Change importsettings in TeamViewer.ini to 1 (importsettings=1)
3. Now TeamViewer loads your exported settings from tv.ini
