Firstly, I'm new here, so I'm sorry if I'm putting this in the wrong place. If I am, please don't eat me.
My problem concerns uTorrent Portable and VLC Portable. One of the main reasons for my using portable applications is that they're supposed to not leave traces on the host PC. However, that is not the case with these two. Now, this is indeed a small problem, but it's still a pain in the arse for me. My problem is that both of these supposably portable applications leave traces on the host computer, as demonstrated here:

Is there an portable app for setting up a VPN(I use open vpn)?
Can it be done without changing/installing the computer you are plugged into?

With notepad2-mod 4.2.25 r796, "file - create desktop link" creates a reference to the non portable executable.

Follows link contents:

C:\USB8\PortableApps\Notepad2-modPortable\App\Notepad2-mod\Notepad2.exe -n
"C:\Users\usuario\Google Drive\notas.txt"

Instead, I suposse that should be:

C:\USB8\PortableApps\Notepad2-modPortable\Notepad2-modPortable.exe -n
"C:\Users\usuario\Google Drive\notas.txt"

1. Automatic switching of the language in the platform

   Due to missing custom code in the file PeaZipPortable.ini doesn't work the automatic switching of the language in the platform.

2. False code in the section [FilesMove]

   I have also discovered, that the code in the section [FilesMove] is incorrect. Here is the proper code:

   [FilesMove]
   settings\conf.txt=%PAL:AppDir%\PeaZip\res
   settings\custedit.txt=%PAL:AppDir%\PeaZip\res
   settings\bookmarks.txt=%PAL:AppDir%\PeaZip\res
   

Just thought someone should know that the DebugView Portable appinfo.ini has DebugView being placed in the "Office" category in the menu. It should be placed in the "Utilities" category as it's listed under Utilities in the "Portable App Directory" on the PA site.

Technical Details:
- Platform 12.0b1 (doesn't tested with 11.2)
- PicPick 3.2.0
- This happens intalling PicPick anywhere, the difference is when you execute it form the platform menu (you can also install the platform anywhere, it doesn't depends if you install it on your hard drive or on your external drive).

I wanted to download ZoomIt via the Portable Apps Platform.
While downloading it I get an error message that
http://download.sysinternals.com/files/ZoomIt.zip
is not available.

Also trying to download ZoomIt portable and adding it manually to the launcher does not work.

Please check this.

Is there going to be an update to Teamviewer?

How does WhatChanged determine that an earlier and a later version of a file are different?

If it only compares file sizes and dates, that will usually work, but not always, because some software and updaters -- I'm looking at you, Microsoft! -- preserve sizes and date metadata when they change some files.

I am running Chrome 23.0.1271.95, when I click the red X button to close Chrome, the window closes, then I go to eject the USB via the Portable Apps launcher, but it says the drive is currently in use, and to try again later. I wait, try again, same message, repeat, repeat, etc. Unless I go to process manager and end the Chrome process (of which there are several, I am figuring out this is due to the plugins I have in Chrome) then I can eject my drive.
Does anyone know what is going on or how I can fix this?
