PortableApps.com Platform

So I have started to learn how to use GIMP and I figured that a new PortableApp Menu theme would be a good starting project. Since I an a noob I broke down the original and rebuilt it. For the most part everything is coming along great but there are a few issues I am having. First, i cant get the drive_space_slider to line up properly and than there are white lines on the left and top that I can not get rid of.

Also I was curious( not that I dislike the PortableApps logo) how can you change the PortableApps logo in the top left?

Is this a John T. Haller famous app or is someone else compiling the code, where is the website?

I was lucky to find an installer.

This theme is as classic as can be but it has some very special touches to it. etc when you click on most of the buttons, they "click in with the background". Please try this theme out.
PS: I really didnt make it, my friend made it for me.

I'm trying to make a theme for portable apps. Butt when I save the background_top.bmp it still shows that pink background. I tried different settings butt that didn't help. So my question at what settings do you have to save the .bmp file.

I downloaded the PortableApps.com suite, and it included Firefox 2.x and OpenOffice.org 2.4, even though FF 3.0.6 and OO.o 3.0 are both available as standalone PA Downloads. I was wondering, why aren't the updated versions packaged with the suite?

I've done some searching, and I haven't found a lot of info on this, other than references to the XRX mod.

I'd like to be able to specify applications that will auto-start when I first start up the PA menu. Specifically, I have a desktop replacement app which I'd like to use every time I start up the menu. Also, it would be nice to open Firefox automatically, too, since I usually go straight for it.

Very annoying, slow buggy and non-responsive. Makes me hate using it sorry.

I installed Sysinternals software but it has (like many other programs) multiple Icons for different parts of program. I don't need (or want) access to those individually. Is there any way to remove the ones I don't need in the menu?

Auf der rechten Seite auf PORTABLEAPPS.COM lassen sich beim anklicken
die Ordner:Dokumente,Musik,Bilder, Videos nicht öffnen.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit diese Ordner wie auf der linken Seite
z.B. Mozilla Firefox auch zu Öffnen?

Please someone just give me a download link for Portable Apps Platform 1.1 in a zip file format. I've been google searching forever still with no results. Every time I click any one of the three Portable Apps download links it says the page cannot be displayed the same happens with the mirrors. Can someone zip it and then email to me : littleboyl33t@yahoo.com
