i have problems with autorun in vista...

i use the PA in a pendrive and in XP it ask how i want to open the pendrive... ok

in vista, before the installation of PA too but after, it says my pendrive have problems and it ask to me if i want to correct the problems, but when i say yes, it dont find nothing! after that, it ask again... if i say no and open the drive by explorer it works perfectly and dont have any problem!

i formatted my pendrive but this sill happening. only after install of portable apps... and only in vista!

I am giving away some flash drives for Christmas and I am putting the Portable Apps suite on them. I would also like to include an HTML static cristmas card that opens only the first time the drive is inserted into the usb drive. From there on out I would like to have the PAM open.

Is there a way to do this?

I just got onto this and wanted to try it out.
I wanted to install it on my other PC (Windows Vista) but when I try to install it but when I choose the directory and click INSTALL it comes up with an error straight away "Error opening file for writing: ***\Desktop.ini" Then I have a choice of Abort, Retry, Ignore and it does this for every single file.

I thought it might of been an incomplete file or something but I installed it 1st time on my XP Computer.

where is the file stored for the PA logo and the PA writing at the top of the menu....the top horizontal bar above the actual apps menu.

Estimados, mi duda es como se puede quitar un elemento del menú, sin eliminat el archivo exe, ya que tengo algunas aplicaciones portables que utilizan más de un archivo exe, pero solo uno es el que se debe usar para utilizar la aplicación, pero el menú muestralos dos.

hey, is there any PortableApps menu that is released by PortableApps.com which allows you to rename files, create folders and other stuff? i already tried the R34_mod_patched but i didn't like the fuzzy writing of PortableApps.com at the top of the menu. If it's not a beta test from the PortableApps.com website, i.e. its from some other site, plz tell me...i'll still check it out.

Would it be difficult to create a GUI that would allow one to assign icons to folders on Flash Drives using relative paths? Something similar to the windows interface possibly? Whenever I try to do it myself, but never was successful outside of assigning default windows icons from shell32.

Here is my second theme (again, uploaded as I have it on the hdd for a long time too ), it is a theme to replicate the menu used by the XPde Desktop Environment. Tell me what you think.

I do have made some themes, but never uploaded them online for the lack of what I call a stable platform, but today I decided to simply upload them. This is the first of many the few themes I made themes that will be uploaded.

I have translated the Backup-Restore App in french. Is there a way to made it available to others ?
