When I try to backup my USB in mirror mode(actually, I haven't tried it in other modes), it keeps giving me an error, with the title 'wxWidgets Debug Alert':

Well, I'm trying to make a copy from my Thunderbird user profile to my Dropbox account. I have very, very little mail space (120M), which forces me to wipe my inbox clean frequently. So I wish to backup my emails to another place than my work desktop, so I can access it whenever and wherever I have Internet.

No, I can't forward any email automaticaly from my work email to another email account.

i'm currently using Toucan 3.0.4 on my USB flash drive and i'm trying to get a self-made script working over commandline (CMD). My script looks like this:

sync([[Sync_Zeiterfassung_MKU]])
sync([[Sync_Zeiterfassung_MKU_Google]])
secure([[Secure_Zeiterfassung_MKU]])
secure([[Secure_Zeiterfassung_MKU_Google]])

those 4 jobs do exists. the first 2 just sync's one ".xls"-file each. the other 2 should encrypt those synced ".xls"-files in it's destination folder.

I cannot find a post or something that talk about a very simple thing I want to do.

I would like to have mirror sync in the backup tab.
the options I've looked are:
>backup
>>PROS: several directories, zip compression
>>CONS: does not delete the files if it is not in the source

>mirror sync
>>PROS: It does delete if the source is not there BUT
>>CONS: only one directory, no compression.

I started looking at the scripting but I thought that I'm not asking that much, I cannot believe I'm the only one that wants that.

hi! any idea why i can't sync a usb hard drive connected to a NAS?

There seems to be a problem with the 3.1 release handling spaces in directory names. I set up a test by creating a folder [[Test Toucan]] on one of my local drives. I then created 3 text files with the names [[Text1]] [[Text2]] and [[Text3]]. I created a Backup Job [[backup toucan1]] with:

Type: Differential
Format: 7-Zip
Compression Level: Default
Backup Location: [PortableApps Thumbdrive]\Documents\Toucan Backups\Test Toucan

Dear Forum

I just got two times the worst case I can have with a backup-Program.
I started toucan to mirrer the C-Drive to an external HDD.
The preview showed how the Files on the C-Drive will be added to the external HDD.
However, while running Toucan, it crashed (avira showed an error Message, some autorun didn't start) and started to delete all files from the C-Drive. Even though it should only copy the files, isn't it?

Is there any help for me? I didn't read this error in any of the forums. Any experiences?

For a while ago I encrypted my private pictures, and today I would see them, but can not remember my password! I have tried all the possible variants of password I often use to no avail! Are there other options to reset password? It should be such an opportunity, I think! Please help me and thank you in advance!

Just when I click the Rules tab and then click the + sign to add a new rule, the program crashes. I get a dialog box that says "Toucan.exe has stopped working". How can I get this fixed? If there is an older version that doesnt have this issue, please give me a download link. 3.0.2 maybe?
