Someone on another forum said you could edit font files, like copy and paste images into the layers.

How do you do this?
I tried opening gimpportable but couldn't find how...

I really like the portable version since it can be moved into drive C or used from a USB drive....Once located in Drive C, preferences set...no problem...

Now the problem, for the USB disk, I copied Brushes, Scripts, Patterns, Gradients, and Plugins into the main Portable Gimp directory each in their own folders....

where is the spash screen located in the latest release of GIMP cuz i want to enhance it a bit to make it look better but i cant seem to find the picture.

this is my first post on this forum :). First I have to say the Portable Apps are amazing!

Last I searched for simple pdf2image converter. I found mainly commercial application, but I read that GIMP can open PDF files and save as bitmap. As fan of Portable Apps I downloaded GIMP_Portable_2.4.5_Rev_2.paf.exe and I installed on my hard disk with other Portable Apps. When I tried to open PDF file, a Windows pop-up asked whether I want to send information about problem of poppler.exe.

Greetings, all. I have Gimp Portable 2.4.5 running on a Thinkpad T61 running WinXP. I'm having an issue where it will not save my main window position (the one with the tools on it). I usually have that window on the far left, sized the same height as my screen, and the Navigation/Histogram/etc. window on the far right, same height. I go to preferences and save window positions, but it doesn't seem to "stick". I'm not using the background window plugin. The only thing that *may* be odd is that I use two screens. But I always keep the GIMP windows on the laptop screen. Any ideas?

possible to change gtk theme in portable gimp 2.4.5 Rv2 ?

I just did an upgrade from GimpPortable for Windows 2.2.17 to 2.4.5. In 2.2.17 my hp1010 printer performed well, in 2.4.5, it produces empty sheets. What am I to do?

I just want to know if I can get more GIMP brushes.
have an idea???
