Hi, just wondered if anyone knew how to link to a file within the firefoxportable folder without including the drive letter, ie, i want to create a homepage of links that can be moved from device to device without having to change the html link?
ie file://?????
Hi,
I m french so sorry for my bad english... i'll try to explain my problem.
I ve got a program that open portablefirefox.exe (version 3.6) and give it an URL. I want to maximize the windows on open but how ?
I ve got a portablefirefox.ini that contains :
Updated my portable 3.5 version to the 3.6 version, in the same way as I always do.
Before I moved the 3.5 version around from pc to pc, with no problems whatever.
Now, when I type in an url, firefox doesn't show a list of suggestions from the history. When I check history everything's there, when I go through google for that link, the link in the google search is highlighted, meaning I have indeed already been to that site. But firefox doesn't give me the list.
When I download the flash from the link given on this website, it's a very old flash, from 2009.
Where and how do I install the very latest flash for firefox?
Atm, I have Flash version 10,0,32,18, but the latest is 10.0.45.2.
Cheers.

Hi!
Today used Firefox 2.0 (for testing purposes)
I also looked around in the settings menu. There was one thing that i didn't understand:
It seems like you can't activate the anti-phishing-function.
If you look on the screenshot you can see that the option is just colored grey. (The second from top)
Do you have an idea why the option isn't available?
Greetings,
Leon B

EDIT
Problem Solved!
Sorry if this has been asked before.
Is there a portable Quicktime add-on? Or a way to save the Quicktime-dlls in FFQ so that the app can handle QT-streams?
Thanks!
Hi,
I am able to use the WaitForFirefox=true properly but on initial start after copying on a machine, it doesn't wait for the first time.
Anything I can do here?
Hello, I would like to set a static DNS entry in Firefox's cache. So far I've been unable to figure out if this is possible as most everything points to extending the cache time and entry list size. I've located the following variables but am wondering if I haven't scowered the internet long enough to find the magic entry. Or if there is another way / work around.
network.dnsCacheEntries
network.dnsCacheExpiration
network.dns.disablePrefetch
network.dns.disablePrefetchFromHTTPS
network.dns.disableIPv6
network.dns.ipv4OnlyDomains
Hello and thanks in advance.
My problem:
I run FFP on two different machines. I save all information, files etc. on a LAN drive O habe access on with both computers.
Now anytime any change to my bookmarks (or any setting for that matter) has to be done manually on both machines.
Is there any way to export the setting folder to my LAN drive in a way a change on one machine would be work on the other one as well ("exporiting" the settings folder to a different location)?
Again, thanks a lot!
