My computer says that I don't have enough space on my USB drive to unzip Office. Can anyone help??
Hi,
Is it possible to make a custom install for Portable OO ?
I don't need all OO applis but I can't select only Word for installation
How can I select only what I need ?
thx
Someone knows which file in OO is responsible for the "Recent Documents" list (under the "Files" menu)? I just can't find it and would like to delete some old entries manually. I know there's a macro available to do this, but it doesn't seem to work with the portable version.
I have Portable Open Office 2.01 and love it. My thanks again to John Haller.
If you please, what are the changes in version 2.02?
Many thanks again.
I would simply like to say a very big Thank You for Portable Openoffice 2.0.2.
I tried to install Dmath (www.dmath.org) on OOo 2.0.2.
The Package Manager closed the Program and nothing happened.
On a normal installation of OpenOffice there is no problem.
Any ideas?
Are there any how-to about creating portable version of OpenOffice.org?
I have successfully built a Hungarian version of OpenOffice.org (and OOo Premium) and I like to move it in to Pendrive.
How can I do it?

The problem started when I noticed that some icons were missing from the Styles and Formatting and the Advanced Filter windows (in Calc). No worries, I said. I'll just reinstall everything.
After downloading Portable Openoffice and deleting the directory on the USB flashdrive and copying the fresh download there, the program wouldn't start. There was an error that icuuc26.dll was not a valid Windows image and that I would have to check the installation diskette(!). After copying that file to the USB drive, the same error appeared about another DLL. Then, nothing.
I searched for this error on the Internet, but I didn't find anything useful other than the fact that it's a Windows problem. Needless to say, I restarted the computer, redownloaded the application files, reinstalled it, but again with no success.
I need the form i calc =ARCOS to make cos 0,7 to 45,57
the form i use ind OpenOffice 2.0.2 (installede) is
=ARCCOS(B1)*360/(2*PI()) and =ARCSIN(D1)*360/(2*PI())
but that form dont work in PortableOffce 2.0.1
They work fine i the installd version (OOo 2.0.2)
im also missin the symbol for sqrt and + when i using Object - forms in Writer, theres just at box instead.
Does Portable OOo create any temporary files on the host PC when being run from a USB stick?
Are there any such files created when opening a file, editing or printing it?
