On first run the launcher sets the language to English. It doesn't use the system language, even if this option is chosen in Inkscape preferences.

I'm using the Portable Apps Platform on my PC, installed Chrome via Platform.

I tried all three releases.

When starting Google Chrome it creates for a short period of time the following log file in the PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable[Dev|Beta]\App\Chrome-bin folder

current install:
\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortableDev\App\Chrome-bin\debug.log

cat debug.log
[1010/145106:ERROR:client_util.cc(333)] Could not get Chrome DLL version.
[1010/145106:ERROR:client_util.cc(370)] Could not find exported function RelaunchChromeBrowserWithNewCommandLineIfNeeded

I realise that there is not yet a PA.c version of Seamonkey 2.4.1.

What are the consequences of allowing Seamonkey portable to update itself (or invoking this via Help -> Check for Updates ?

Will it screw anything up - other than the PA.c menu showing the wrong version?

If you have no plans to add it.
Then I suggest that you remove 'spell check' from the description.
To lessen the chance of confusing users , especially new users.

I use Coolplayer+Portable v2.19.2 a lot.
But I don't understand why some tags on my mp3 files are displayed in the playlist, while others simply aren't.
This is so for ID3v1 as for ID3v2 tags, both clearly visible in AIMP player...
Any suggesstions ?

Did anyone succeed doing iMacro script syntax highlighting in Notepad++ editor? I have followed the instruction on the following page of iMacro

but every time when I create the userDefineLang.xml file in the mentioned directory (that is ...\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable) then Notebook++ crashes at the very next start and I have to uninstall and reinstall the portable version to get it working again. Not even deleting the file userDefineLang.xml will help, it still crashes until I really remove it from the drive and install it again.

I'm not sure if this is a bug / annoying feature of the original program.
But the program defaults to App/user/data instead of using the data folder.
The fix is however very easy, just point Rednotebook to the folder of the old database ( Journal > open ) and Rednotebook will use that folder instead.

There is a much better version of Warzone 2100 that has much more eye-candy than the original. If you go to the home page of Warzone 2100, there is an Alpha version. Please add the Alpha to Portable Apps.
