(hope you make a portable firefox 3 the firefox 3 that will be release as early as possible)thanks.
(You'll have to forgive me if anything I say sounds odd, I don't really know very much about computers, let alone programming.)
This is a basic Windows XP problem, but I don't know the answer, I'm afraid!
Having copied loads of portable apps into a folder on my USB stick, I created shortcuts to each one outside of the folder, and made the folder invisible. No probs - they all work fine...
...until I take my memstick to another computer, where Windows sees it as a drive with a different letter. The shortcuts point to the apps with an absolute reference, rather than a relative one.
How can I overcome this, please?

Well, I was working on a little "Project" of mine but it was ruined when my cousin decided to use my computer and just so happened to get a virus that wiped out my machine. He decided that my security software was making the computer run too slow so he closed all of it. Yea...
Is it possible to create a "message box" in the user profile to contact other members directly with out trying to collect email addresses. I just think it would be easier than the "@ member" forum topics.
Hi,
First, sorry if the question have ever been asked several times, but i can't find it ...
So, my problem is that when i open the PortableApps, the menu is not organized like i'd like it to be ... For exemple, I want to have Firefox first, then Pidgin, then VLC, then 7Zip ...
How should i do to change that ?
I have a second question : in the menu, i want to change the applications names, like change "PortableFirefox" to "Firefox" ... How could i do that ?
Thanks for helping me,
yAm
John,
Since we can't get people to stop posting support questions in the news stories, even the requlars perhaps we should just make them "Read Only"?
Then people would have to post in the support forums, just a thought.

all files but I want to leave only few for example savegames
Man, there is no place that looks completely appropriate to post this request for an enhancement to PortableApps support pages. It seems somehow inappropriate to post in a forum.
I would like to see in the Version History section of support pages, a link to archives of older versions.
