I am trying to install "Bot Sentry" (to block bots from sending me spam) on Pidgin Portable but it complains than Pidgin was not found, obviously the install tool does not recognize Pidgin Portable, does anyone know a workaround or another plug in to block bots that works with Pidgin Portable ?

I got that message after trying to log-in to MSN on Pidgin. Now, Im not sure what to do, but if i could have some feedback, that would be great

So I'm assuming pidgin is NEVER going to come with encryption and spellcheck, and every version upgrade means a half hour fight to make them work, if at all. Is that a fair bet?

Hello I had just installed the Filezilla Portable. but It does not seems to work well, I basically click Edit > Settings and modify all I need (or just one thing), and when I click the OK button it start thinking,,, and in some time it says app is not responding so I need to click the X icon to abort the app.

I want to use OTR encryption while chatting via jabber. Is this somehow possible with Miranda Portable?

Does anyone have the paf.exe for the previous version of Pidgin? The new v2.5 has been crashing every time. I've even tried completely deleting and re-installing. Thanks in advance.

Tried to use pidgin 2.5.0. Every time that tries to connect to an account with @hotmail.com crashes and the error it shows says that the error was to a file that begins with msn*, deleted the PAF, downloaded a fresh one, same thing, now downloaded 2.4.3 and hope for the best.
