Hi everyone!

I have been wondering why Miranda does not log my message history properly (am only using the portable version) to my log for some time. Today I installed a plugin which gives me some plugin information and shockingly I had to recognize Miranda does obviously save my history to my TEMP folder. I have no idea how to fix this and hope you are able to help me. I hope the attached screenshot gives you all information you need in order to fix this annoying bug:

I'm new here and don't know if this is even the place to post something like this. I was looking for the Yahooo Portable App that I could run off my 120gig pd and I found it here. I was wondering why it's not listed on this site and why was it so hard for me to find. I have like 200 apps on my drive so far all of them good ones. I downloaded it and it's been working Great! Enjoy...

Howdy...by default, Pigdin saves logging info (im messages and all chats) in DATA, SETTINGS. Is there a way to change the location so it saves it in my Documents directory so it can be encrypted?

I did a search on the forum and didn't find anything along the lines of what I'm experiencing, but I apologize in advance if this has already been answered...

I just recently upgraded to version 2.5.1 from version 2.4.3. When I try loading this version, I get a "Pidgin has stopped working" error message. When I view the problem details, I get this:

Tunnels that I create show up in the window, but when a session is opened they have no effect, and when I restart the program they are gone. If I run putty.exe instead of puttyportable.exe (and leave permanent registry entries), it works.

I'm trying to run PortableFilezilla (tried 3.1.1.1 & 3.1.2) from within BartPE, which is a Live (bootable) CD. I bumped into the problem of setting off a flurry of Error messages because of not being able to write settings, etc, back to the read-only CD. I tried to follow the instructions in the Help.html, but apparently my interpretation was incorrect.

Okay here's 3 questions.
Which Encyption method/Package is better to use with Pidgin ?

I would imagine that If I use Encryption 3.0, and another user
uses OTR, the messages are not readable by either of us because we
both have to be using the SAME Method/Package right ?

PIDGIN or Miranda matter of preference ?

Hey all!
Everytime I click on a link i get from someone in pidgin, it opens in IE (which I guess is the computer's default browser). How can I make pidgin open the links with my Firefox Portable?

will there be any for portable? i love it in 2.5.1 and would love to see it to work in the portable version as well

I am trying to install "Bot Sentry" (to block bots from sending me spam) on Pidgin Portable but it complains than Pidgin was not found, obviously the install tool does not recognize Pidgin Portable, does anyone know a workaround or another plug in to block bots that works with Pidgin Portable ?
