VLC: Save Playlist
Is there a way for me to save my files as a playlist?
Probably a dumb question but you don't know if you don't ask.

Is there a way for me to save my files as a playlist?
Probably a dumb question but you don't know if you don't ask.
Being an amateur not afraid of HTML code and command line, I have the following multimedia project:
I will burn AVI files on a DVD, all of them having two audio-tracks. As many users having Windows Media Player associated with AVI on their PCs cannot separate the two audio-tracks, an on-disc VLC Portable should play these, regardless what media-player is associated with AVI files on their PCs.
My name is Gonzalo, I am from Madrid, Spain. Sorry I can not write perfect English but I will try as better as posible.
I am using VLC Portable and I want that VLC starts showing the playlist(even if I closed it before closing VLC) but I cannot achieve it.
I also want VLC to starts with a loaded playlist. For example: gg.m3u
I would like you to help me.
Thanks, gONzAO
Is there a way to increase the buffering time? Or is there another reason why streaming audio is skipping at times?
i tried to play a 3gp with vlc, the video works fine but the audio won't play... anybody knows why?
DisableSplashScreen=true does not work. Please help.
When playing a file with VLC portable, either from the flash drive or from the local disk, it appears in the Recent Documents area of the start menu. This seems like an undesired behavior for a portable app and I believe that at a minimum it should be a possible option to disable or enable this behavior. I realize that this is most likely more applicable to the original VLC code, and not the portable version here. I do think this should be a common issue in many portable apps, and that files should not appear in Recent Documents.
Any feedback is appreciated

Hello,
I am facing a problem of VLC plugin in firefox that is not working if there is no full vlc installation on my HDD.
Installation status:
1. FirefoxPortable (2.0.0.5) & VLC Portable (0.8.6c) are installed on USB stick.
2. npvlc.dll (copy from full version), libvlc.dll (copy from PortableApps\VLCPortable\App\vlc) are stored in PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox\plugins
If the HDD full version of VLC is uninstalled the message on video web page from plugin says "no video".
Hi all.
I recently DL'd VLC portable 0.86c, unpacked it and launched. Then I tried to change to another skin - which I had DL'd - from the default skin (Unfortunately, I can't recall exactly what I did, as it was over a week ago). After I finished my changes, VLC minimized itself to the taskbar, and the options to restore and maximize were greyed out.
Since then, every time I've tried to fire up VLC, it appears onscreen ONLY minimized to taskbar, only now with a new twist from that first time:
It will appear as TWO taskbar tabs/buttons, not just one.
When I had XP, I used the Audio Record Wizard that allowed me to record off of "WAVE" audio so whatever was playing through the sound card (and through my receiver to the speakers) would be recorded. This was used for streaming audio for radio shows. I still use that same sound card with Vista I did with XP, a Creative Digital USB Audio Card and this computer also came with a RealTek HD Audio card as well.
