PortableApps.com Platform

I use the "Start Automatically" feature for a hand-full of apps, and find it extremely useful. However, I occasionally want to be able to open the PortableApps.com Platform WITHOUT running all my apps set to start automatically.
Some reasons I want this:
I accidentally closed the platform, so all the apps that would launch automatically are already running.
Need quick access to only a few apps, but don't want to wait for (and have to manually close) all the auto-start apps.

Currently, if a PortableApp isn't closed properly (computer crashes, or re-boots without closing all portable apps), the next time it is run you get a dialog saying:
"AppName Portable did not close properly last time it was run and will now clean up. Please then start AppName Portable again manually."

I think the launcher should be able to automatically launch the App after it does the necessary clean up.

P.S. is this the best place to post this?

Ive not had consistent luck w/ Texter Portable. I'm trying an alternative PhraseExpress which provides its own portabilized version. Unfortunately to instantiate the portable aspect of it, they implemented it to use an argument/parameter

So to create a batch/shortcut could work but the Portable Apps menu does not recognize this. Is there a way to get this to work as such?

I've tried installing Platform 3 time. It doesn't start and says it can't find 0.dll, REINSTALL I'm trying to install Platform to a thumb drive from my desktop, XPpro. Thanks

I'm trying to add foobar to PortableApps and have read the Support page but I can't find this option?

Under 'Options' I just have 3 tabs general, Themes and Advanced and it's not in any of them?

I'm obviously being a dunce but I can't find it :/

Backed up my old 1.6 portableapps.com to install 10.0 update, removed flash, shut down, rebooted, put the flash back in, clicked the auto run file view, clicked on the portable apps icon, the platform opened, each listed Icon was only characters and numbers, in sequence. Example: lblAppButton01, lblAppButton02, etc.Etc. Can anyone tell me where I went wrong?

is there a way to add a "downloads" icon to the launcher? I can create the folder and configure the applications myself.
