I wonder why the Applications Installer isn't multilanguage?
Some Apps have different languages in the Installer but the most not!
And the strings in NSIS are already translated

Why is the NSIS Installer of portable Apps NOT multilingual?

I want to vote for this feature!

in order to complete the Beta1 of the PortableApps.com Launcher we need some strings translated to French, Japanese, Spanish, Italian and Chinese.

Please take a look in the updater_neu.ini if You want to know the relating App to the DESC_Sections.

As you may know the release of Toucan 2 is getting nearer. Because of this I need new translations. Currently I have 2.x translations for Dutch, German, Spanish, Estonian, French and Russian. If you would like to contribute a new translation though please post first below so we don't get duplication and follow the steps below.

If you do not have an existing translation then follow these steps:

1. Download a copy of poEdit. This is the program you will use to translate Toucan.

How does the PortableApps Menu determine what character encoding was used when the locale file was saved?

Case in point: I'm working with the swedish.locale file and when it's encoded with ISO-8859-1, national characters show up as expected. If it's encoded with UTF-8, the menu system displays garbled text instead of the national characters.

Technically, our national characters are represented as single bytes in ISO-8859-1 and as 2 bytes each in UTF-8.
